Report an Outage - ComEd Even if it was just for a minute, make sure you report any outages. We cannot let outages go unreported.

Your Regional Transmission Organization PJM You know your electricity distributor pretty well, but your regional transmission organization (RTO) is just as important! Make sure to become familiar with PJM so that you know exactly what's happening to the grid! This includes knowledge of the projects being added and subtracted from the grid.

PJM At a Glance If learning about a different portion of the electricity grid feels like too much, start with a brief document that will walk you through the basics.

Cook County Real Estate Tax Delays

June 9th Cook County Committee Meetings: Tax Bill Delays Back in the Spotlight

Cook County Commissioners addressed the ongoing property tax bill delays in two committee meetings yesterday. If you've been following this issue — or if you're wondering why your tax bill hasn't arrived — these meetings are worth watching. Recordings should be available on the Cook County website now or very shortly.

Several of the outstanding questions were addressed in the meetings — but not all of them. Here's what still needs a clear answer:

1.     Response to questions submitted to Commissioner Britton — A formal set of questions was previously submitted. Has there been a written response?

2.     What is the county paying for outside help with the technology transition?

3.    When will Tyler Technologies provide a concrete plan for resolving the 214 known deficits in the system?

4.     Approximately 2,500 tax bills have not yet been sent out. What is the total dollar amount currently owed to local taxing bodies as a result?

5. What is the amount that has been paid to third party vendors to assist in rectifying the situation
